'Na idealização deste jardim, procurou-se que a forma dos bosques e clareiras, a presença da água, o contraste da luz e da sombra respondessem ao apelo de uma cultura mediterrânica e à essência das nossas paisagens' Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles (GRT). As the text from GRT states, the shape of the woods and clearings, the presence of water, the contrasts of light and shadows reflect the appeal of a Mediterranean culture and the essence of our landscapes, this was the concept guiding our intervention.
The garden was desingned by Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles, the main structure was there as well as the huge pine trees. Our project highlighted some GRT gestures, giving the garden a new life and integrating it with the renovated house. The garden includes the entrance, the zen garden, the hedges and clearings, the pool area, orchard and vegetable garden and the rooftop gardens.
